By accessing or using GoBarber's mobile application and website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

GoBarber is a platform that connects clients with barbers and barbershops in Portugal. Our Service allows:

• Customers to discover, book, and pay for barber services
• Barbers to manage their schedules, services, and payments
• Barbershops to increase visibility and manage their teams

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

Account Types

GoBarber offers different account types:

• Client accounts: For booking barber services
• Barber accounts: For professionals offering services

4. Bookings and Payments

For Clients

• Bookings are confirmed once submitted through the app
• Cancellations and rescheduling are free of charge
• Payment holds are placed at booking time and charged upon service completion
• Refunds are processed automatically for cancelled bookings

For Barbers

• You are responsible for maintaining accurate availability
• Services and pricing must be accurately represented
• Payments are processed through Stripe Connect
• You receive 100% of client payments. No additional fees are deducted.

5. Subscription Plans

GoBarber offers the following plans for barbers:

• Basic (Free): Core features with essential functionality
• Pro (€14.99/month or €152.99/year): Premium features including in-app payments, analytics, and more

Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and can be cancelled at any time through your device's app store.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Provide false or misleading information
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications

7. Content and Intellectual Property

All content on GoBarber, including logos, designs, and text, is owned by GoBarber or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

By uploading content (photos, reviews, etc.), you grant GoBarber a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content within the Service.

8. Reviews and Ratings

Users may leave reviews and ratings for barbers. Reviews must be:

• Honest and based on actual experiences
• Respectful and not contain offensive content
• Not contain spam or promotional content

GoBarber reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

9. Limitation of Liability

GoBarber is a platform connecting clients and barbers. We are not responsible for:

• The quality of services provided by barbers
• Disputes between clients and barbers
• Any damages arising from the use of our Service

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Portuguese law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GoBarber harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

11. Data Deletion

GoBarber respects your right to the deletion of your personal data, as provided for in Article 17 of the GDPR.

12. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
